Privacy Policy – SpoolVault
Last updated: February 2026
SpoolVault is developed and operated by Three19 Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), which is the data controller for the processing described in this policy.
We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your information transparently and responsibly.
SpoolVault is available to users worldwide. This policy is intended to apply to all users, wherever they are located.
This Privacy Policy explains what information SpoolVault collects, how it’s used, and your rights under applicable privacy laws, including Australian privacy law.
1. Overview – A local-first app
SpoolVault is designed as a local-first application. Most of your filament inventory and usage data is stored on your device, not on our servers.
We do not require users to create an account, and we do not collect names, passwords, or email addresses within the app itself.
2. Information we collect
a) Information stored locally on your device
The following information is stored locally on your device:
- Filament inventory and quantities
- Print usage data
- Colour selections
- App preferences
This data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it.
b) Anonymous analytics and feature data
To improve SpoolVault, we collect limited, anonymous data via Supabase:
- Anonymous app usage events (e.g., basic feature interactions and screen usage events)
- Colour submissions when you add custom filament colours (brand, type, colour name, hex value)
- An anonymous user identifier (UUID generated on your device)
- A device-scoped identifier provided by the operating system (IDFV), used only to prevent duplicate or abusive colour submissions
- App version and basic diagnostic metadata
This data:
- Is not linked to an account
- Is not linked to your personal identity
- Is used solely to improve app functionality and colour data accuracy
SpoolVault does not track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
c) Subscriptions and purchases
SpoolVault offers optional paid subscriptions, which are processed by Apple and managed via RevenueCat.
We receive limited subscription-related information, such as:
- Whether a subscription is active
- Subscription product identifiers
We do not receive or store:
- Payment card details
- Billing addresses
- Apple ID information
d) Support communications
If you contact us via email, we may collect:
- Your email address
- The content of your message
This information is used only to respond to your enquiry and provide support.
3. IP addresses
We do not aim to collect or store your IP address in our own systems.
However, IP addresses may be processed by Apple, RevenueCat, and Supabase as part of normal network communications, security logging, and fraud prevention.
4. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Operate and maintain the app
- Improve features and usability
- Maintain accurate filament colour data
- Manage subscriptions
- Provide customer support
- Ensure app security and stability
EU/UK users – legal bases for processing
For users in the European Union or United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases to process personal data:
- To operate and provide the app and manage subscriptions: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To improve features, maintain app security, and analyse anonymous usage data: our legitimate interests in operating and improving SpoolVault (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To respond to support enquiries: performance of a contract or legitimate interests, depending on context.
5. Third-party service providers
SpoolVault uses the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store & In-App Purchases
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Supabase (anonymous analytics and data submissions)
These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies:
- Apple: https://www.apple.com/privacy/
- RevenueCat: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/
- Supabase: https://supabase.com/privacy
6. International data processing
Our service providers may process data in Australia, the United States, or other countries where they operate infrastructure.
We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle information in line with applicable privacy laws.
For users in the United States, including California, our current data practices do not involve selling or sharing personal information for cross‑context behavioural advertising. If local privacy laws grant you additional rights, you can contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
7. Data retention
Anonymous analytics and submission data is retained only for as long as necessary to improve the app and maintain data integrity, after which it may be deleted or anonymised further.
Support emails are retained only as long as required to resolve enquiries.
8. Your rights
You may contact us to:
- Ask questions about this policy
- Request access to personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of information where reasonably possible
Because SpoolVault does not use accounts, some rights (such as data portability) may be limited to information you voluntarily provide, such as support emails.
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may also have additional rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to object to certain processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Privacy complaints (Australia)
If you have a privacy complaint, please contact us at:
Email: privacy@three19.com.au
We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

10. Children’s privacy
SpoolVault is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has contacted us and provided personal information via email, please contact us and we will delete that information where reasonably possible.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available within the app or on our website.
